Cross Flow Filtration

Cross flow filtration is a type of cake filtration, during which solids get trapped into the filter-bed and filtrate gets released at the other end. Cross flow filtration has applications in reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration and in number of physical-chemical separation processes, which can be applied in industries like wastewater treatment, protein purification etc.

The current CHEMCAD palette does not cover a cross flow filtration model.
